The Weaver

This is an assemblage made out of six fabrics and six tridimensional objects. The fabrics are weaved in basse-lisse technique and are inspired by the spiderweb structures and the tridimensional objects are inspired by spider cocoons and are done in the papier-mache technique.

The assemblage suggest the shape of a spider and it symbolizes the fact that the work of art represents the artist and that the basis on which the artist has formed is defining for him.
